England & Lyle have been advising and acting for the owner of the site for a number of years during which time consents for residential development, touring caravans,permanent holiday accommodation, lodges, and commercial development have all been achieved.
Work has continued on a number of proposals through the abolition of Teesdale District Council and the emergence of new planning guidance on developments in the countryside.
The latest scheme on the site will see a further area of tourism development including, touring, static caravans and camping pods.
