Planning permission has been won on appeal against a decision by Hartlepool Borough Council to refuse consent to turn a scrap metal premises into a waste transfer site.
The application was refused by the Council in June 2011. The Planning Inspectorate has recently upheld the appeal and in doing so have awarded full costs to our client in relation to the appeal proceedings, England & Lyle having demonstrated that the Council had acted unreasonably.
